The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has revealed that the results for the CA Foundation exam conducted in May 2026 will be available on July 3, 2026. Candidates who participated in the exam can expect to access their results and scorecards online using their roll and registration numbers.
**Expected Time for Results Release**
Historically, results are typically announced between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM on the specified date. However, ICAI will confirm the exact timing closer to the release. Candidates are encouraged to monitor the official ICAI website for updates.
**Steps to Download the Scorecard**
To retrieve their scorecards, candidates should follow these steps:
- Visit the official results website.
- Click on the link for 'CA Foundation May 2026 Result.'
- Input your roll number and registration number.
- Enter the captcha code shown on the screen.
- Press the submit button.
- Your scorecard will be displayed; download and print it for your records.
**Passing Criteria**
To pass the CA Foundation exam, candidates must achieve at least 40% in each subject and an overall aggregate of 50% across all papers. If a candidate scores above 50% overall but falls below 40% in any subject, they will not pass.
**Upcoming CA Exam Schedule**
ICAI has also published the timetable for the upcoming exams in September and November 2026. The CA Foundation exam is scheduled for September 2, 5, 7, and 9. The Intermediate and Final exams will occur in separate phases during September and November.
