SSC CGL Vacancy 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially announced the final number of vacancies for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination for 2025. A total of 15,125 positions will be filled through this recruitment process. Initially, the SSC had reported 15,130 vacancies, but this figure has been adjusted down by five. The first notification released on June 9, 2025, indicated 14,582 vacancies, meaning that an additional 543 posts have been added since then.

The position with the highest number of vacancies is Superintendent under the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), with 6,626 posts available. Additionally, there are 412 vacancies for Income Tax Inspectors and 1,294 for Tax Assistants. The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) also has several openings, including:
