Eligibility Criteria


Educational Qualifications:


Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree along with the requisite teacher training qualifications for the specific role, which may include BTC, D.El.Ed, B.El.Ed, or a specialized D.El.Ed.


Additionally, candidates must have a valid qualification in either the State Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) or the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) – Paper 1. For specific qualifications accepted for each post, please refer to the official advertisement.


Age Requirements:


For the Urban Primary Teacher position, candidates should be between 21 and 40 years old as of July 1, 2026.


For positions in the primary sections of aided schools, the minimum age is 21 years, while the maximum age limit is 62 years, adhering to the retirement age. Age relaxation may apply for reserved categories as per the guidelines.
