Recently, a high-level meeting was convened at the residence of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh in Delhi. The discussions focused on the stringent security arrangements for the NEET re-examination scheduled for June 21, which is expected to see participation from approximately 23 lakh students.

According to government sources, officials from the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) will closely monitor the entire examination process. This includes overseeing the preparation of the question paper, its printing, secure transportation, and distribution to examination centers. The crucial meeting lasted about 40 minutes and included several high-ranking ministers and officials. Key attendees were Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, NTA Director General Abhishek Singh, and senior PMO officials.
