The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has announced a recruitment drive for Constables, aiming to fill a total of 9,175 vacancies. Among these, 9,096 positions are allocated for male candidates, while 79 are reserved for female candidates.

Vacancy Details
The recruitment will cover various categories, including Technical and Tradesman roles, as well as positions in the Pioneer Wing. All applicants must have completed at least the 10th grade (Matriculation) from a recognized board. Specific roles, such as Driver and Mechanic, require an ITI certificate or relevant experience.
The age criteria are set at 21 to 27 years for Driver positions and 18 to 23 years for other roles, with age relaxation available for candidates from reserved categories.
Physical Standards
Physical fitness is essential for this recruitment. Male candidates must be at least 170 cm tall, while female candidates need to be 157 cm. Additionally, male applicants must have a chest measurement of 80 cm. The physical tests include a 5 km run for males to be completed in 24 minutes and a 1.6 km run for females in 8.5 minutes.
Selection Process
The selection will involve multiple stages, starting with a Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standards Test, followed by a Computer-Based Test (CBT). Candidates will then undergo a Trade Test, Document Verification, and a Medical Examination. The final merit list will be based on CBT scores, which will consist of 100 questions across subjects like Reasoning, General Knowledge, Mathematics, Hindi, and English. The exam will last two hours, with a penalty of 0.25 marks for incorrect answers.

The fee is ₹100 for male candidates from General, OBC, and EWS categories, while SC, ST, female candidates, and ex-servicemen are exempt from the fee.
