Bihar Board 10th Exam: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSE) is gearing up for the 2026 Bihar 10th Board Exam, set to take place from February 17 to 25. The board has released comprehensive guidelines for students, outlining essential dos and don'ts. Candidates are encouraged to reach their examination centers well ahead of the scheduled time, as entry will be restricted half an hour prior to the exam.
Examination Center Timings
Opening and Closing Times:
The BSE has specified that examination centers will open one hour before the exam starts and will close 30 minutes before the scheduled time. This policy applies to both shifts of the exam.
The Bihar Board 10th exam will occur in two shifts: the first from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the second from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. For the first shift, entry will be allowed until 8:30 a.m., with the center closing at 9:00 a.m. For the second shift, entry will be permitted until 1:00 p.m., and the center will close at 1:30 p.m.
Rescheduling for Missed Exams
Addressing Missed Exams:
During the Bihar Board 12th exams, which commenced on February 2, there were reports of students missing their exams due to late arrivals. Those who were unable to enter the examination center were turned away. To accommodate these students, the board has announced plans to reschedule their exams for April.
