WBSSC Extends Application Deadline for Group C and D Posts to December 8, 2025
Application Deadline Extended
WBSSC Recruitment 2025: The West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) has announced an extension for the application deadline concerning Group C and Group D positions under the First State Level Selection Examination (Non-Teaching Staff) for 2025. Initially, the application period commenced on November 3rd and was set to conclude on December 3rd, 2025.
New Application Deadline
Applications can now be submitted until December 8th.
Due to significant technical difficulties faced by applicants, the Commission has decided to extend the deadline by an additional five days. Eligible candidates can now submit their applications until December 8th, 2025.
Technical Issues Addressed
The application window, which opened on November 3rd, will now remain accessible until December 8th, following reports of widespread technical issues. The Commission has also permitted fee payments until 11:59 PM on the same day.
Many candidates encountered difficulties accessing the online portal due to ongoing server problems. Officials noted that the portal was down for at least two days during the announcement of Class 11th and 12th results on November 7th, and for two days following the release of Class 9th and 10th results on November 24th. This prompted the decision to extend the deadline to ensure equitable access for all applicants.
