Uttarakhand PSC Announces 808 Lecturer Vacancies for 2025

UKPSC Vacancy: The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has revealed plans to fill 808 lecturer roles. The notification pertains to the Uttarakhand Special Subordinate Education (Lecturer Cadre Group-C) (General Branch and Women's Branch) Service Examination for the year 2025. Interested candidates can submit their online applications for these lecturer positions from December 31 to January 20.
The recruitment process will cover 725 vacancies across 15 subjects in the General Branch and 83 vacancies in 12 subjects for the Women's Branch. Candidates will have the opportunity to amend their application forms from January 28 to February 6, 2026.
The General Branch encompasses subjects such as Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Civics, Economics, History, Geography, Sociology, Art, Commerce, and Agricultural Science. Meanwhile, the Women's Branch includes Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Civics, Economics, History, Geography, and Home Science.
No Need to Reapply
The recruitment notice clarifies that individuals who previously applied online for the lecturer roles in response to advertisement number A-3/S-1/DR(L.I.C)/2024, dated October 18, 2024, are not required to submit a new application. Their earlier submissions for the relevant positions (excluding Art) will still be considered valid.
Previous Application Fee Non-Refundable
The commission has indicated that applicants who wish to reapply after previously submitting an application can withdraw their earlier submission and file a new one. However, the fee paid for the previous application will not be refunded.
Cancellation of Art Position
As per the notice from the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, all online applications for the Lecturer-Art position in the General Branch submitted in response to the October 18, 2024 advertisement have been annulled. Candidates who meet the educational qualifications specified in the current advertisement for the Spokesperson-Arts General Branch can apply in response to the advertisement dated December 30, 2025.
