The Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission has initiated the application process for the recruitment of Assistant Teachers. A total of 128 vacancies for Assistant Teachers will be filled through this recruitment drive. The last date to apply for these roles is October 7, 2025. Eligibility Requirements


Applicants must be between the ages of 21 and 42 years. Age relaxation is available for candidates belonging to special categories. SC, ST, and OBC candidates from Uttarakhand will receive a 5-year age relaxation, while candidates with disabilities will benefit from a 10-year age relaxation.


To qualify, candidates must hold a B.Ed. degree from a recognized institution in India or possess equivalent qualifications.


Selection Process


The selection of candidates will be based on a written examination consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions. This exam will last for two hours and will cover topics related to educational qualifications. To qualify, General and OBC candidates must score at least 45%, while SC and ST candidates need a minimum of 35%.


Application Fee


The application fee varies by category. For General and OBC candidates from Uttarakhand, the fee is ₹300, whereas SC, ST, EWS, and disabled candidates from Uttarakhand will pay ₹150. Additionally, orphan candidates are exempt from the application fee.
