Cancellation of UKSSSC Exam 2025


UKSSSC Exam 2025 Cancelled: The Uttarakhand government has officially cancelled the graduate-level recruitment examination organized by the Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC), which was held on September 21st. This decision came after BJP MLAs raised concerns regarding alleged irregularities in the examination process. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is currently looking into a cheating incident that took place at an examination center in Haridwar.


Details of the Examination

The examination was conducted across multiple centers throughout the state, with over 100,000 candidates participating. In response to the situation, the state government has established a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the paper leak. Additionally, an inquiry committee has been set up, led by retired Uttarakhand High Court judge UC Dhyani, to further investigate the matter.


Allegations of Paper Leak

The paper leaked before the exam began.
Reports indicate that the examination paper was leaked via WhatsApp approximately 30 minutes prior to the start of the exam. Many candidates who participated in the exam have called for its cancellation and a re-examination. Following the cancellation, candidates expressed their gratitude towards the government, stating that the decision was made in the best interest of the youth.


Postponement of Technical Recruitment Exam

The Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission has also announced the postponement of the exam originally scheduled for October 12th, aimed at filling technical roles within the Agriculture Department. Commission Chairman G.S. Martolia confirmed the postponement, but a new date for the exam has yet to be announced. Previously, the Commission had postponed the Cooperative Inspector Class II and Assistant Development Officer exams, which were set for October 5th. A revised schedule for these postponed exams will be provided soon.
