Candidates looking to apply for headmaster and assistant teacher positions in government-aided junior high schools in Uttar Pradesh have received a significant update. The online application timeline has been altered due to technical issues that affected the application portal's functionality. This revision allows candidates to complete their applications within the newly established dates, offering them ample time and convenience. This adjustment is particularly beneficial for the numerous young individuals who have been eagerly awaiting the recruitment process for several months.


Reasons for the Change in Application Dates

The updated results for the Junior High School Principal and Assistant Teacher Selection Examination 2021 were announced on September 6, 2022. Following these results, the online application window was initially set from November 15 to December 5, 2025. However, persistent server issues necessitated a halt in the application process, prompting the Secondary Education Department to extend the application deadline.

A total of 1,262 positions are open for direct recruitment in non-government-aided secondary schools across the state. The breakdown of these positions is as follows:

Dr. Mahendra Dev, the Director of Secondary Education, emphasized the importance of submitting accurate and comprehensive information regarding vacant positions to the Selection Commission promptly. He also highlighted the necessity of providing a certificate confirming the inclusion of all direct recruitment positions in the requisition within two days to maintain transparency and order in the recruitment process.
