Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Board Reschedules Physical Efficiency Test Dates

Rescheduling of Exam Dates Due to Weather Conditions

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has announced a change in the exam schedule for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) due to adverse weather conditions, including rain and waterlogging at various exam centers.

New Dates for the Physical Efficiency Test

Originally set to commence on October 1, the PET will now be held on different dates across specific centers. Notably, the PET at nine centers that was scheduled for October 1 has been postponed to October 8, 2026. Candidates will receive updated admit cards reflecting these changes.

The following centers will conduct the PET on October 8: 12th Battalion PAC Fatehpur, 8th Battalion PAC Bareilly, 9th Battalion PAC Moradabad, 26th Battalion PAC Gorakhpur, 37th Battalion PAC Kanpur, 6th Battalion PAC Meerut, 47th Battalion PAC Ghaziabad, 20th Battalion PAC Azamgarh, and 39th Battalion PAC Mirzapur. All other PETs scheduled after October 3 will proceed as planned unless otherwise noted.

Specific Changes for Azamgarh, Gorakhpur, and Meerut

Candidates at the 20th Battalion PAC Azamgarh, 26th Battalion PAC Gorakhpur, and 6th Battalion PAC Meerut will see changes not only for the October 1 exam but also for subsequent dates. The revised schedule is as follows: the exam on October 1 will now occur on October 8, the October 3 exam will be on October 9, and the October 4 exam will take place on October 10, 2026. The exam on October 5 will remain unchanged.

Change of Exam Center in Bareilly

For candidates from the 8th Battalion PAC in Bareilly, the PET will now be held at the Police Lines, Bareilly. It is essential for these candidates to download a new admit card and report to the updated exam center. Additionally, the PET will no longer occur at the 37th Battalion PAC in Kanpur and the 12th Battalion PAC in Fatehpur; candidates from these locations will be assigned to different centers.

Important Reminder for Candidates

The UPPRPB has emphasized that old admit cards for candidates whose exam dates or centers have been altered will not be accepted. Candidates must present the revised admit card to participate in the PET.
