Officials have been tasked with executing this ambitious project effectively, focusing on regional requirements and potential.
The designated area will encompass all necessary facilities related to industry, skill development, employment, self-employment, and industrial support, streamlining the process for entrepreneurs and job seekers by reducing the need to navigate multiple departments.
Job Opportunities Across Various Sectors
Sectors Where Jobs Will Be Available
Adityanath has emphasized the importance of fostering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), service-oriented industries, and innovation-driven sectors. This will be supported by modern infrastructure, including plug-and-play units and flatted factories, allowing entrepreneurs to commence operations with minimal initial challenges.
The project will feature the establishment of common facility centers, testing labs, demonstration and design centers, tool rooms, wastewater treatment facilities, plug-and-play units, and flatted factories. Furthermore, the initiative will provide entrepreneurship training, mentoring, and information on various loan schemes to enhance youth skills.
Employment Zones Across Uttar Pradesh
Employment and industrial zones will be set up on a minimum of 50 acres in each district, with the scheme being rolled out in phases throughout Uttar Pradesh.
This model will offer youth self-employment and entrepreneurship training, skill development programs, internships, and apprenticeship opportunities.
Additionally, arrangements will be made for wage-based employment in relevant sectors. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath believes that the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Employment and Industrial Zone will emerge as a significant center for employment, skills, and entrepreneurship for the youth.
Officials have been instructed to accelerate the identification of sites and the implementation of this initiative, which aims to establish a robust framework for industrial development and job creation in Uttar Pradesh.
