Uttar Pradesh Home Guard Recruitment: Exciting news for young job seekers aged between 18 and 30! The recruitment process for Home Guard volunteers in Uttar Pradesh has been officially approved. The state government has released the necessary orders and guidelines, paving the way for the recruitment of over 45,000 vacant positions.


The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board will oversee the enrollment and written examinations for this recruitment initiative. Candidates will be enrolled based on information regarding available positions from various districts, followed by a written test. Although details about salary and allowances are yet to be disclosed, it is anticipated that they will receive compensation similar to that of constables.


Age Criteria and Selection Process


The age requirement for applicants is set between 18 and 30 years. After the written examination, a merit list will be compiled. Currently, there are approximately 73,000 Home Guards serving in Uttar Pradesh, with recruitment for an additional 45,000 positions expected to commence shortly. Newly recruited Home Guards will be assigned to their home districts. Additionally, the Yogi government has arranged financial support of ₹3.5 million for any Home Guard who loses their life in an accident.
