Young individuals aiming for government positions in Uttar Pradesh can now apply for Junior Engineer roles. The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released a recruitment notification for Mechanical and Electrical Junior Engineers. The application process will occur on different dates for each position. To qualify, candidates need to have a three-year engineering diploma.


Moreover, applicants must fulfill the eligibility criteria set for UP PET 2025. The selection process will involve a written examination, which will include negative marking.


Available Vacancies


This recruitment initiative by UPSSSC will fill Junior Engineer positions in two specializations: Mechanical and Electrical.



  • Junior Engineer (Mechanical): 1,156 positions


  • Junior Engineer (Electrical): 380 positions

Eligibility Criteria


Candidates must possess a three-year engineering diploma or an equivalent qualification recognized by the government. There will also be provisions for reservations for exceptional sportspersons in this recruitment.


Selection Process


The written examination will be worth 100 marks, with candidates given two hours to complete it. Incorrect answers will result in a deduction of marks. During document verification, candidates will need to express their preferences for the available posts.
