Important Announcement for UP Board Students



Students preparing for the 10th and 12th board exams in Uttar Pradesh have received significant news. The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has officially released the schedule for the practical examinations for High School and Intermediate levels for the year 2026. This information was made public through a notice on the UP Board's official website.


Practical Exam Schedule:


As per the notice, the practical exams for classes 10 and 12 will occur in two distinct phases. The first phase is scheduled from January 24 to February 1, 2026, excluding January 29 and 30. The second phase will take place from February 2 to February 9, 2026. The detailed schedule for each division is outlined below:



  • January 24 to February 1, 2026: Practical exams will be held in Agra, Saharanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Devipatan, and Basti divisions.

  • February 2 to February 9, 2026: Practical exams will be conducted in Aligarh, Meerut, Moradabad, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Varanasi, and Gorakhpur divisions.


Board Exam Dates:


The UP Board has also announced that the board examinations for both classes 10 and 12 will be completed by February 18, 2026.


A total of over 52 lakh students are expected to participate in these examinations. Specifically, there are 2,750,945 students registered for High School, comprising 1,438,683 boys and 1,312,263 girls. For class 12, 2,479,352 students are registered, including 1,303,012 boys and 1,176,340 girls.


Admit Card Distribution:


Students can obtain their admit cards from their respective schools prior to the exams. The UP Board will dispatch these cards to schools, and students should reach out to their class teachers or principals to collect them.
