Application Fees
The application fee structure is as follows:
- ₹2,000 for candidates in the Unreserved, OBC, and EWS categories.
- ₹1,500 for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories.
- ₹1,000 for candidates registering under the PwD quota.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the UP Assistant Professor Recruitment 2026, candidates must possess the necessary educational qualifications relevant to their subject area. Generally, applicants should have a Master's degree in the pertinent subject with a minimum of 55% marks and must have cleared NET/SLET/SET. A PhD is also required. Candidates from reserved categories and those with disabilities will receive a 5% relaxation in the minimum marks needed for the Master's degree.
