Official Notification for Veterinary Pharmacist Main Examination
The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has announced the official notification for the Veterinary Pharmacist Main Examination. Interested candidates can apply through the UPSSSC website starting September 14. This recruitment drive aims to select 1,308 candidates. The application window will remain open until October 5, 2026, with a correction period for application forms available until October 12, 2026.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Veterinary Pharmacist Main Examination, candidates must have a valid PET-2025 scorecard. Additionally, they should have completed both Class 10 and Class 12 from a recognized institution in India.
Candidates are also required to hold a diploma in Veterinary Pharmacy, which typically lasts between 2 to 3 months. Proficiency in Hindi, specifically in the Devanagari script, is mandatory.
The age criteria stipulate that candidates must be at least 18 years old, with a maximum age limit of 40 years. Relaxations in age will be applicable for candidates from reserved categories.
Application Fee
Applicants must pay a registration fee of ₹25, applicable to General, OBC, SC, and ST candidates.
Main Examination Format
The Main Examination will feature 100 questions, each carrying one mark, covering various subjects including animal anatomy, animal husbandry management, animal breeds, nutrition, clinical pathology, pharmacology, and clinical veterinary medicine. The exam duration is set for 120 minutes, and a negative marking system will be in effect, deducting one-fourth of a mark for each incorrect response.
