New Application Deadline: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has announced an extension for the application deadline for the Lower PCS recruitment. The new deadline is now set for June 25, 2026, pushed back from the original date of June 18. Furthermore, the total number of available positions has been increased, providing more opportunities for applicants. Initially, the recruitment aimed to fill 2,285 positions, but this number has now risen to 2,587.

Candidates' Requests for Deadline Extension

Since the application process commenced on May 29, candidates were initially given until June 18 to submit their applications. Many expressed frustration on social media regarding issues with the UPSSSC website, which reportedly malfunctioned for about a week, hindering numerous candidates from applying. This prompted calls for an extension of the deadline.
