UPSSSC Cane Supervisor Vacancy 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) based in Lucknow has officially announced the recruitment for Cane Supervisors for the year 2026. Under Advertisement No. 13-Exam/2026, the Commission is looking to fill 1,182 vacancies in the Cane Establishment and Sugar Establishment departments. Out of these, 1,000 positions are open for General Selection, while 182 are reserved for Special Selection.

Important Application Dates:

Eligibility Criteria:
Only candidates who have taken the UP PET 2025 examination and possess a valid PET scorecard issued by the Commission are eligible to apply for the Cane Supervisor Main Examination 2026. Additionally, candidates must meet the specified educational qualifications. The Commission has stated that the selection for the Main Examination will depend on the normalized scores from the PET 2025.
Educational Requirements:
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science from a university recognized by law in India. A CCC (Course on Computer Concepts) certificate from DOEACC/NIELIT is also required.
Age Criteria:
Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age: 40 years
Age will be calculated as of July 1, 2026. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government norms. The Commission has emphasized that candidates with a zero, negative, or less than zero score in PET 2025 will not be eligible for the Main Examination.
However, candidates whose results are categorized as 'Under Investigation' (UI) or 'Provisional' will be allowed to apply conditionally.
Application Fee:
There is no application fee for candidates of any category in this recruitment. An online processing fee of ₹25 is required.
Selection Procedure:
The recruitment process will occur in three phases:
1. Shortlisting Based on PET 2025 Scores:
Candidates will first be shortlisted based on their PET 2025 scores.
2. Main Examination:
Those shortlisted will need to take the Main Written Examination.
3. Final Merit List:
The final merit list will be created based on the scores from the Main Examination.
