The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has revealed plans to recruit pharmacists to fill vacant positions across the state. The online application window will open on March 9 and will remain accessible until March 29. Candidates must ensure that any fee payments are completed by April 5.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the UP Pharmacist Recruitment 2026, candidates must possess a valid UPSSSC PET 2025 scorecard. Additionally, applicants should have completed a Diploma in Pharmacy from an accredited institution and must be registered with the Uttar Pradesh State Pharmacy Council.


As of July 1, 2026, candidates must be at least 18 years old, with a maximum age limit of 40 years. Age relaxation will be applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories in accordance with existing regulations.


Selection Process

Candidates will be required to take a written examination as part of the selection process. This exam will feature 100 multiple-choice questions, with a total duration of 2 hours. Each correct answer will earn one mark, while incorrect answers will incur a penalty of 0.25 marks.


The exam will include 65 questions focused on subject knowledge, 15 questions on computer and information technology, and 20 questions pertaining to general knowledge about Uttar Pradesh. Successful candidates will be offered a salary at Level 5.
