The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has issued a recruitment notice for 7,994 Lekhpal (Revenue Officer) vacancies. Candidates must possess a valid scorecard from the Uttar Pradesh Preliminary Eligibility Test (UP PET). Additionally, applicants should have completed their Intermediate (12th grade) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. The age requirement is a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 40 years, with age relaxation applicable for reserved category candidates as per regulations.

1. Visit the official website and navigate to the Applicant's Dashboard.


2. Log in using your UP PET 2025 registration number to check your application status.


3. Alternatively, print the form and log in using your Preliminary Eligibility Test-2025 registration number.


4. Click on the "Modify Application" button next to the relevant advertisement and enter the verification code.


5. An OTP (One Time Password) will be sent to your registered mobile number/email.


6. After submitting the OTP, your filled-in form will be displayed.


7. Pay a fee of Rs. 25 while completing the application form, which can be paid online.

Changes in OBC Reservations

Changes in OBC Posts


In the earlier notification, 1,441 posts were allocated for Other Backward Classes (OBC), which has now been increased to 2,158. The updated category-wise distribution of posts is as follows: 3,205 for the Unreserved category, 1,679 for Scheduled Castes, 160 for Scheduled Tribes, 2,158 for Other Backward Classes, and 792 for Economically Weaker Sections. Additionally, 1,592 posts are reserved specifically for female candidates.
