Eligibility Criteria for Principal Role

To qualify for the Principal position, candidates must have:



  • A Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.

  • A Master's degree from a recognized institution.

  • A minimum of 10 years of service as a Vice-Principal or as a PGT/TGT teacher in a recognized educational institution.


Age Limit: Maximum age is 50 years for General/EWS candidates, 53 years for OBC candidates, and 55 years for SC/ST candidates. PwBD applicants may receive an age relaxation of up to 10 years, with a maximum age limit of 56 years.


Qualifications for Vice-Principal Position

For the Vice-Principal role, candidates must possess:



  • A Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.

  • A Master's degree.

  • 2 years of experience as a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) or 3 years as a Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT).


Age Limit: Maximum age is 35 years for General/EWS candidates, 38 years for OBC candidates, and 40 years for SC/ST candidates. PwD candidates will receive a 10-year age relaxation as per regulations (up to a maximum age of 56 years).


Selection Process Overview

The selection process begins with a Combined Recruitment Test (CRT) conducted in a pen-and-paper format. Candidates who qualify will then be invited for an interview, which will also be organized by the Commission. It is essential for candidates to bring their documents and a printed copy of their application to the interview. The interview is valued at 100 marks, and the schedule will be announced separately.
