Assistant Keeper Position
The Assistant Keeper role is open to the unreserved category, with applications also welcomed from Persons with Disabilities (PwBD).
Qualifications: Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Anthropology along with a Diploma in Museology from a recognized institution.
Experience: A minimum of one year in museum specimen conservation is preferred.
Location: The position is based in Kolkata, with responsibilities extending across India.
Key Responsibilities: Develop regional anthropological museums and conduct field studies in tribal regions.
Senior Store Officer Grade-II Positions
Seven Senior Store Officer Grade-II positions will be filled at DRDO Headquarters in New Delhi. The distribution of these positions includes:
- 5 for General category
- 1 for OBC
- 1 for SC
- 1 reserved for persons with disabilities (blindness/low vision)
Qualifications: A Master's degree in relevant fields such as Economics, Commerce, or Public Administration is required. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree with a Diploma in Materials Management or Logistics is acceptable.
Experience: 2 years for Master's degree holders and 4 years for Bachelor's/Diploma holders.
Responsibilities: Tasks include tender processing, vendor evaluation, and managing unused materials.
Livestock Officer Positions
The Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying will recruit 8 Livestock Officers, with the following reservations:
- 4 for EWS
- 1 for OBC
- 2 for SC
- 1 for ST
Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in veterinary science and animal husbandry, along with registration with the Indian or State Veterinary Council, is mandatory.
Experience: Candidates should have at least 3 years in livestock development or animal health.
Responsibilities: This full-time clinical role prohibits private practice and involves supporting government schemes and coordinating with international organizations.
Age Limit and Selection Process
The age limit for the Assistant Keeper position is 30 years, while for Senior Store Officer Grade-II and Livestock Officer roles, it is 35 years. Relaxations apply for reserved categories.
Selection Process: In case of a high volume of applications, candidates may be shortlisted based on educational qualifications, experience, or through a recruitment test, likely held in 15 major cities including Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata.
The interview will be scored out of 100, with minimum passing marks set at 50 for the general category, 45 for OBC, and 40 for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
