The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has initiated a recruitment campaign for various positions, including Medical Officers, Lecturers, and Legal Advisors. Candidates interested in applying should note that the deadline is set for October 2, 2025.

This recruitment drive has specific age criteria, with a maximum age limit of 50 years. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD categories are eligible for age relaxation as per government policies, allowing older applicants to participate.

Different minimum score requirements have been established for various categories: General and EWS candidates need at least 50 marks, OBC candidates require 45 marks, while SC, ST, and PwBD candidates must secure a minimum of 40 marks. This approach reflects the Commission's commitment to providing equal opportunities across all categories.

Selection will be based on a written exam, followed by an interview and document verification. Candidates who pass the written test will be invited for an interview, and the final selection list will be published post-verification.

The application fee is quite affordable, with General, OBC, and EWS candidates required to pay only ₹25. Female candidates, as well as SC, ST, and PwBD applicants, are exempt from any fees.

The online application process is straightforward. Interested candidates can visit the official UPSC website at upsconline.gov.in, navigate to the Recruitment section, and click on the Apply Online link. After logging in with their registration number and necessary details, candidates should fill in their educational and personal information, upload required documents, and submit the application fee.
