UPSC NDA and NA-2 Exam 2026 Details


Exam Announcement: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has revealed the schedule for the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination-II, 2026. This examination will take place on September 13, 2026, in two sessions, allowing candidates to prepare accordingly.


Exam Timings:
The Mathematics paper (Code 01) is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, while the General Ability Test (Code 02) will be conducted from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The application process for this exam concluded on June 11, 2026.


Vacancies and Selection Process:
A total of 394 positions will be filled through the NDA and NA-2, 2026 examination, with 370 allocated for male candidates and 24 for female candidates. The selection includes a Mathematics paper worth 300 marks and a General Ability Test worth 600 marks.


Successful candidates in the written exam will proceed to the SSB interview, which encompasses intelligence and personality assessments, group tasks, psychological evaluations, and a medical check-up. Each correct answer earns one mark, while incorrect answers incur a penalty of one-third of a mark. Both papers will last for 2.5 hours.
