New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the results for the Indian Forest Service (IFS) main examination. Candidates who participated in the recruitment exam held from November 16 to 23, 2026, can check their eligibility status in PDF format on the official website upsc.gov.in. Those whose roll numbers appear in the selection list are now eligible for the personality test (interview). The schedule for the UPSC IFS 2025-26 interviews will be announced soon, and candidates are advised to keep an eye on the official website for updates.

According to the result notification, the interviews for UPSC IFS 2025-26 will take place at the UPSC office located at Dhaulpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069. Successful candidates will soon have the option to download their e-call letters via upsc.gov.in or upsconline.gov.in.

  2. On the homepage, click on 'Written Result (with names): Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination, 2025' in the 'What's New' section.

  3. A PDF file will be displayed on the screen.

  4. Download it and save it for future reference.


Required Documents

Selected candidates must bring original documents supporting their eligibility/reservation claims, such as age, educational qualifications, community, economically weaker sections, persons with disabilities (PWD), and other documents like the TA form during their personality test (interview).


The official notice states, 'Candidates wishing to avail of the reservation/exemption available for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes/Black communities/PWD/Ex-servicemen, etc., must also submit original certificates issued by the final date of application for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2025, i.e., February 21, 2025, for the Indian Forest Service Examination, 2025.'


Candidates should note that requests for changes in the date and time of the personality test (interview) are generally not considered.


Interview Process

All candidates who qualify for the personality test (interview) must provide necessary details (such as educational qualification status, whether present/absent) and proof of passing the required qualification exams, along with relevant documents as proof of their claims; failure to do so will result in the cancellation of their candidature, and no correspondence will be entertained by the commission in this regard. Furthermore, such candidates will not receive any e-summon letter,' the notice further states.
