UPSC Declares Final Results for Engineering Services Exam 2025
Final Results Announced by UPSC
New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the final results for the Engineering Services Examination (ESE). A total of 458 candidates have been recommended for appointment to various Group 'A' and Group 'B' engineering services under the central government. These recommendations are based on the written examination held in August 2025, followed by personality tests conducted in October and November.
Vacancies and Selections
This year, a total of 554 vacancies were announced for the Engineering Services Examination 2025. The breakdown includes 251 positions in Civil Engineering, 134 in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, 97 in Electrical Engineering, and 72 in Mechanical Engineering.
Over 200 Candidates Selected
The Civil Engineering stream saw the highest number of recommendations, with over 200 candidates selected. Following this, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering and Electrical Engineering also had significant selections. Detailed information by stream can be checked below.

UPSC has also mentioned that the candidature of 102 recommended candidates is provisional and may be subject to change. Additionally, a consolidated reserve list of 186 candidates has been prepared across all engineering disciplines.
