UPSC Announces Final Results for CDS Exam 2025

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the final results for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination (1), 2025. The results are available on the commission's website as a merit list. According to the official announcement, a total of 535 candidates have qualified based on their performance in the written examination.


Training Locations for Selected Candidates

Based on the results of the Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2025, UPSC has declared 535 candidates successful, comprising 473 men and 62 women. The selected candidates will commence their training at the Officer Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai, starting in April 2026. Male candidates will undergo training in the 123rd Short Service Commission (Non-Technical) course, while female candidates will participate in the 37th Short Service Commission Women (Non-Technical) course.


Additional Recommendations for Male Candidates

Some male candidates have already been recommended for training at the Indian Military Academy in Dehradun, the Indian Naval Academy in Kerala, and the Air Force Academy in Hyderabad. The government has announced 275 positions for men and 18 for women.
