Final Results of UPSC Civil Services 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced the final results for the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025. Anuj Agnihotri has achieved the top rank in this esteemed examination, followed closely by Rajeshwari Suve M and Akansh Dhull, who secured the second and third positions, respectively. A total of 180 candidates have been selected for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS).

Alongside Anuj, Rajeshwari, and Akansh, the top ten candidates include Raghav Jhunjhunwala, Ishaan Bhatnagar, Zeenia Arora, A.R. Raja Mohaddin, Pakshal Secretary, Aastha Jain, and Ujjwal Priyank.

Total Candidates Recommended for Appointment

Following the announcement of results, the UPSC confirmed that 958 candidates have successfully passed the examination and are recommended for various Central Civil Services positions.


The UPSC conducts the Civil Services Examination annually, comprising three stages: Prelims, Mains, and Interviews. This rigorous selection process spans a year, culminating in the appointment of officers to services such as IAS, IFS, and IPS. The Commission has provisionally granted candidacy to 348 recommended candidates.

Details of the Examination Schedule:


The preliminary examination took place on May 25th. Last year, the Civil Services Preliminary Examination was also conducted on this date. The main examination occurred from August 22nd to August 31st, 2025, while the final personality test or interview wrapped up on February 27th, 2026.


After the main examination, 2,736 candidates were invited for interviews, which commenced on January 5th and concluded on February 27th. The marks obtained will be available on the UPSC website within 15 days following the results announcement.

Recruitment Details

Distribution of Positions:


According to the UPSC, recruitment has been announced for a total of 958 posts. Among the successful candidates, 180 will join the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), 55 will enter the Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and 150 will become part of the Indian Police Service (IPS). Of the 180 IAS positions, 74 are allocated for the unreserved category, 28 for Scheduled Castes, 13 for Scheduled Tribes, 47 for OBCs, and 18 for the EWS category.
