UPPSC Lecturer Examination Update
Announcement from UPPSC: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has officially changed the date for the Lecturer (Male/Female) Government Intermediate College (GIC) Examination-2025. Initially set for June 7, 2026, the exam has been postponed, with a new date now confirmed.
According to the latest notification, the written examination for Direct Recruitment-2025 for Reserved Civil Police and similar positions in the Uttar Pradesh Police is scheduled for June 8, 9, and 10, 2026. To avoid any overlap with these dates, the Commission has opted to reschedule the Lecturer Examination.
New Date for GIC Lecturer Recruitment Exam
The GIC Lecturer Examination will now take place on June 14, 2026 (Sunday), instead of the previously planned date of June 7. This adjustment aims to benefit candidates by allowing them to participate in both examinations without added stress.
This announcement was made from the Commission's office in Prayagraj on May 5, 2026. The notice, endorsed by the Examination Controller, encourages candidates to continue their preparations based on the updated examination date.
Candidates are urged to frequently check the Commission's official website for any further important updates regarding the examination. With this change, all candidates will need to revise their preparation strategies to accommodate the new date. This decision by the Commission is seen as a crucial move to reduce scheduling conflicts among competitive exams and ensure a smooth examination process.
