Overview of UPPSC PCS 2025 Recruitment



The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has unveiled comprehensive details regarding the PCS 2025 recruitment, revealing a total of 814 job openings across 28 different positions. Among these, there are 34 roles for Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) and 56 for Deputy Superintendent of Police (Deputy SP).


This recruitment initiative encompasses various sectors, including administration, police, revenue, development, labor, and food safety. The position with the most vacancies is the Excise Inspector, which has 123 openings. Other notable vacancies include 105 for Naib Tehsildar, 92 for Treasury Officer and Accounts Officer, and 85 for Block Development Officer. Additional roles available are 72 for Food Safety Officer, 45 for Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Tax), 35 for ARTO, and 37 for Labor Enforcement Officer.


Interview Process for Selected Candidates

**2,297 Candidates to Appear for PCS Interview**


Out of 10,284 candidates who took the UP PCS 2025 Main Examination, 2,297 have qualified for the interview stage. These interviews are scheduled to take place from September 28 to October 24, over a span of 19 working days, and will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will commence at 9:30 AM, while the second will start at 2:00 PM. The interview schedule has been organized according to the candidates' roll numbers, and the final selection will be based on the combined scores from both the interview and the Main Examination.


The results for the UP PCS Main Examination were announced on September 17, following the examination held from March 29 to April 1, 2026, at designated centers in Prayagraj and Lucknow.

Candidates assigned to the first shift are required to report to the Commission's office, 'Saraswati Bhawan' in Prayagraj, by 8:00 AM. Those in the second shift should arrive by 12:30 PM. It is essential for candidates to bring original copies of all mark sheets, degrees, and certificates pertaining to their educational qualifications for the interview.
