It is important to note that on the explicit orders of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the commission annulled the recruitment examination on January 7, 2026. This decision was prompted by the identification of significant irregularities during the examination. The Yogi government emphasized the need for a new examination to be conducted with utmost integrity and transparency. The previous examination took place on April 16 and 17, 2025, and serious allegations of malpractice led to the resignation of the then Chairman of the Commission.

Now, the successful candidates are advocating for the punishment of only the guilty parties, insisting that the careers of innocent individuals should not be jeopardized. The commission is currently preparing for a new examination, but candidates are requesting that their interviews be conducted. The response of the commission and the government to this memorandum remains to be seen.
