UPESSC Releases City Slips for TGT Exam
UPESSC: The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission has unveiled the city slips for the upcoming Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) recruitment examination scheduled for 2026. As per the official notification, the TGT written examination, associated with Advertisement No. 01/2022, is set to take place on June 3 and June 4, 2026. This examination will occur in two shifts across 614 centers located in 36 districts throughout the state.

A remarkable 16.16 lakh candidates have registered for the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), indicating a strong interest in the teaching profession.
The Commission reports that a total of 868,531 candidates have applied for the TGT recruitment. The examination will be conducted in two shifts: the first from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, and the second from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

Subject-wise Examination Schedule

On June 3, 2026, the first shift will cover the subjects of Social Science, Physical Education, Science, and Urdu. The second shift will include Hindi, Mathematics, Agriculture, and Vocal Music.
On June 4, 2026, the first shift will feature examinations for English, Home Science, Biology, and Instrumental Music, while the second shift will focus on Sanskrit, Commerce, and Art.
