UP Teacher Recruitment: Candidates interested in the 2021 Principal and Assistant Teacher Selection Examination for Non-Government Aided Junior High Schools should note that the online application dates have been revised due to technical issues. Applicants can now submit their applications following the new timeline.

The updated results for the 2021 Junior High School Principal/Assistant Teacher Selection Examination were published on September 6, 2022. Initially, online applications for selection and appointment based on these results were scheduled from November 15 to December 5, 2025. However, these dates have been altered due to server-related technical difficulties.

Vacancy Information:

A total of 1,262 positions are available for direct recruitment in non-government aided secondary schools. The breakdown of vacancies by subject is as follows: 240 for Hindi, 145 for English, 99 for Sanskrit, 455 for Science-Mathematics, and 314 for Social Science. The recruitment process will encompass all 1,262 vacant positions across these subjects.

The Secondary Education Department has requested that details regarding potential vacant posts in aided secondary schools be submitted by March 31, 2026. Instructions have been issued to all districts within the state to comply with this request.

Dr. Mahendra Dev, the Director of Secondary Education, emphasized the importance of providing accurate information about vacant posts to the Selection Commission promptly. He also mentioned that a certificate confirming the inclusion of all direct recruitment posts in the requisition must be submitted within two days.
