New Exam Dates Announced for RRB Group D

Revised Exam Dates: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released a crucial update for candidates gearing up for the Group D recruitment examination. The exam schedule has undergone a significant alteration, extending the examination period into February 2026. Initially set to conclude on January 16, the exams will now run until February 10, 2026.

Updated Exam Schedule:
January 8 and 9, 2026
February 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, and 10.

Admit Card and City Slip Details:
Candidates can check their exam city and obtain their SC/ST travel pass 10 days prior to the exam date. The admit cards will be available for download from the official website four days before the scheduled exam.

Aadhaar Verification Instructions:
To enhance security and transparency, the Railways have mandated Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication. It is essential to bring either the original Aadhaar card or a printed version of the e-verified Aadhaar card to the examination center. If you have not yet completed the Aadhaar verification process, please visit rrbapply.gov.in to do so. Ensure that your Aadhaar status is 'unlocked' to prevent any issues during biometric verification.

Those who pass the Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be invited to participate in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), with candidates selected at a ratio of three for every vacancy. This will be followed by Document Verification (DV) and a medical examination. The recruitment drive aims to fill roles such as Pointsman, Track Maintainer, and Assistants across various departments.
