The Bihar government is set to unveil numerous job openings, particularly for librarian roles. Candidates who have been preparing for government positions can expect an announcement soon. The Education Department has gathered data from all districts concerning available librarian posts and is currently finalizing the roster. Once this process is complete, the vacancies will be forwarded to the BPSC, which will subsequently issue a recruitment notification.

Individuals interested in applying should enhance their preparation efforts. To qualify, candidates must hold a graduate degree in Library Science from an accredited institution, achieving at least 45% marks. For candidates belonging to SC, ST, Extremely Backward Classes, Backward Classes, Disabled, Women, and Economically Weaker Sections, a minimum of 40% marks is required, with a 5% relaxation.

Age Requirements for Bihar Library Recruitment

Applicants must be at least 21 years old as of August 1st to be eligible for the librarian positions.

Additionally, the BPSC TRE-4 will soon announce over 26,000 teaching vacancies, as confirmed by Education Minister Sunil Kumar. Candidates are advised to keep an eye out for the notification following the Durga Puja festival.
