Rank and Position in the Army

Successful candidates for the religious teacher role will be appointed as Religious Teacher-Junior Commissioned Officers (RT-JCO). This position is permanent, contrasting with the four-year tenure of Agniveers, of whom only 25% transition to full-time army roles.
