UP Police SI 2025 Recruitment Details



UP Police SI 2025 Recruitment: The UP Police Recruitment Board is set to close applications for 4543 Sub Inspector positions soon. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and have not yet submitted their applications can do so until September 11 by visiting the official website uppbpb.gov.in. The application process commenced on August 12, and the deadline for fee adjustments is September 13, 2025.


Educational Qualifications Required

Applicants must possess a graduation degree from a recognized university in India. Those with equivalent qualifications acknowledged by the government are also eligible to apply.


Age Requirements

Minimum Age: 21 years


Maximum Age: 28 years


Date of Birth: Candidates must be born between July 2, 1997, and July 1, 2004.


Age Calculation: This will be based on July 1, 2025.


Reservation and Relaxation Policies

Candidates from reserved categories will receive upper age limit relaxations as per existing regulations.


Additionally, the recruitment board has introduced an extra relaxation of 3 years for all candidates this time.


Selection Process for UP Police SI 2025

Written Examination: The selection will begin with a written exam worth 400 marks, consisting of 160 questions. The exam duration is set for 2 hours (120 minutes) and will cover topics such as General Hindi, Basic Law/Constitution/General Knowledge, Numerical and Mental Ability, Mental Aptitude, IQ, and Logical Ability.


Document Verification and Physical Test: Candidates who pass the written exam will undergo document verification, followed by a physical test. Successful candidates in all three stages will be appointed as Sub Inspectors (SI).
