Important Regulations for UP Police SI Exam

UP Police SI Exam 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has established stringent regulations for the upcoming UP Police Sub-Inspector Recruitment Exam, set for March 14th and 15th. Candidates should be aware that even minor errors, such as wearing inappropriate eyewear, could lead to disqualification. The board has explicitly prohibited the use of "Meta Glasses" (Smart Glasses) within examination venues.

Given the availability of glasses equipped with cameras and Bluetooth technology, the board has banned all forms of advanced or electronic eyewear. Additionally, candidates are not allowed to bring Bluetooth devices, smartwatches, or any other electronic gadgets into the examination hall. Only the following items are permitted:

  1. Admit Card

  2. Identity Card

  3. Blue or Black Pen

Measures to Ensure Exam Integrity

During a video conference on Saturday, the Recruitment Board directed nodal officers to maintain the integrity of the examination process. This year, there will be three significant levels of verification: Aadhaar verification, biometric checks, and physical searches.

Special Provisions for Female Candidates

The board has also prioritized the comfort and privacy of female candidates. Female police personnel will be assigned to each examination center, and separate enclosed areas will be designated for searches.

Monitoring will extend beyond the centers, with a three-tier live control and command system established in Lucknow. This system ensures that all activities are under the direct oversight of the board via CCTV. Strict legal action will be enforced against anyone found with a fraudulent ID.
