UP Police: An important announcement has been made regarding the Computer Operator Recruitment exam for 2023 by the Uttar Pradesh Police. The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board is expected to hold this examination next month. They are currently accepting applications for 930 Computer Operator positions. Additionally, recruitment is underway for 921 roles including Sub Inspector (Confidential), ASI (Clerk), and ASI (Accounts).

Following this, an examination for 4,534 Sub Inspector positions within the UP Police is planned. To date, over six lakh applications have been submitted, with the application deadline set for September 11. It is anticipated that the number of applications will surge in the final week, with expectations of over 20 lakh forms being filled.

Reports indicate that the SI recruitment exam may take place in November.

Modification Opportunity for One-Time Registration
The UP Police Recruitment Board has mandated one-time registration for all police recruitment posts. So far, more than nine lakh candidates have completed this registration. In response to requests from candidates wishing to amend their OTR details, the board has decided to allow each candidate to modify their information once. This option is now available on the recruitment board's website.

Steps to Modify OTR Details

To modify OTR details, candidates should visit the official website at uppbpb.gov.in/.

By navigating to apply.upprpb.in, candidates can log into their OTR account using their registered credentials, Aadhaar ID, or DigiLocker.

Once logged in, candidates can update their information by selecting the Modify OTR Details section.
