Important Update for UP Police Home Guard Applicants


For those who have applied for the Uttar Pradesh Police Home Guard positions, there is significant news. The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has officially announced the schedule for the UP Police Home Guard written examination for 2025. According to this schedule, the examination will take place on April 25, 26, and 27, 2026.


Vacancies and Allocation

This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 41,424 positions across 75 districts in Uttar Pradesh. The distribution of these positions is as follows: 16,650 for the general category, 4,331 for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), 11,090 for Other Backward Classes (OBC), 8,645 for Scheduled Castes (SC), and 808 for Scheduled Tribes (ST).


Exam Format and Structure

The written examination for the UP Police Home Guard will be conducted in an offline format. The question paper will consist of a total of 100 questions covering general knowledge and other subjects. Each question will carry one mark, and candidates will have 120 minutes to complete the exam. To pass, candidates must score at least 25%.
