Revised Schedule for Physical Efficiency Test

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has updated the timeline for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), particularly the running segment, for the UP Police Home Guard Recruitment 2025. This adjustment was made to ensure the safety and convenience of candidates, especially due to the ongoing rainfall in the region. As a result, the running event will now commence on September 14 instead of the previously scheduled date of September 8.

Here are the key details regarding the new schedule, instructions for candidates who have already downloaded their admit cards, and the venues for the physical tests.

New Schedule and Admit Card Instructions

UPPRPB has announced that the updated schedule for the physical test (running event) will be published shortly. Candidates can download the new schedule for the UP Home Guard recruitment physical test from the official UPPRPB website starting September 7. Additionally, candidates who previously downloaded their admit cards are required to obtain revised versions, which will also be available on the Board's official site.

Running Events Across 15 Locations

The UPPRPB is set to conduct the running event for Home Guard recruitment at 15 designated locations throughout the state, organized on a zonal basis. For instance, in the Meerut Zone, candidates will participate at the 6th Battalion PAC (Meerut) and the 47th Battalion PAC (Ghaziabad). In the Varanasi Zone, the running test will occur at the 39th Battalion PAC (Mirzapur) and the Reserve Police Lines (Jaunpur).

Other locations include:

1. Prayagraj Zone: 4th Battalion PAC (Prayagraj)

2. Gorakhpur Zone: Reserve Police Lines (Sant Kabir Nagar)

3. Agra Zone: 45th Battalion PAC (Aligarh)

4. Kanpur Zone: 33rd Battalion PAC (Jhansi)

5. Bareilly Zone: 8th Battalion PAC (Bareilly) and 9th Battalion PAC (Moradabad)

6. Lucknow Zone: 35th Battalion PAC (Lucknow), 32nd Battalion PAC (Lucknow), 25th Battalion PAC (Raebareli), 10th Battalion PAC (Barabanki), and 11th Battalion PAC (Sitapur).

Running Requirements for Candidates

For the UP Home Guard recruitment, male candidates are required to complete a 4.8-kilometer run within 28 minutes, while female candidates must finish a 2.4-kilometer run within 16 minutes. The running tests will be conducted in two shifts each day: the first shift starts at 5:00 AM, and the second at 6:00 AM.

Performance Tracking with Chips

During the UP Home Guard recruitment run, candidates will have chips attached to their legs to monitor their performance. This technology has been in use since 2016, where a band with a computer chip is secured to the candidate's leg. This chip tracks every step taken, records the distance covered, and logs any pauses. It also enables real-time location monitoring on a computer.
