UP Police Constable Recruitment 2026 Results Released



The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has announced the results for the written examination of the UP Police Constable Recruitment 2026. A total of 76,184 candidates have successfully qualified for the next stages, which include Document Verification and the Physical Standard Test (DV/PST).


Schedule for Document Verification and PST

**Document Verification and PST Start Date: August 17**


As per the official notice, the DV and PST will commence on August 17, 2026. This year, the Board has decided to conduct these stages first, and only candidates who pass this phase will be eligible for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which is scheduled for September 2026.


Admit Card Release for DV-PST

Candidates can anticipate the release of their DV-PST admit cards approximately 10 days before the test begins. Understanding the DV-PST Process

**Steps in the DV-PST Process**


Candidates who have cleared the written exam will first go through Document Verification conducted by the UP Police Department. Following this, all candidates must participate in the Physical Standard Test (PST), where their height, weight, and chest measurements (for male candidates) will be recorded. Only those who pass this stage will qualify for the running test.


Height Requirements for PST

**Minimum Height Criteria**


To qualify for the PST, candidates from the General, OBC, and SC categories must meet a minimum height of 168 cm, with chest measurements of 79 cm (unexpanded) and 84 cm (expanded). For SC candidates, the minimum height is 160 cm, with chest measurements of 77 cm (unexpanded) and 82 cm (expanded).


For female candidates, the minimum height requirement is set at 152 cm, while those from the ST category must have a minimum height of 147 cm.
