Deadline for Academic Record Submission

Student Records Requirement: All universities in India are required to upload the academic records of their undergraduate and postgraduate students by June 30. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has issued a directive to higher education institutions to ensure that marksheets, grade sheets, and credit scores for all UG and PG students for the 2025-26 academic year are updated.

According to UGC Secretary Prof. Shyama Rath, all institutions that award credits must submit academic records pertaining to the 2025 examination year, including marksheets and credit data, to the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) platform by the specified deadline. After June 30, no new uploads will be accepted on this platform.

However, any corrections or changes to previously uploaded records will only be allowed following the established ABC procedures and standards. The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 encourages a multidisciplinary and integrated approach to education.

The goal is to provide students with enhanced lifelong learning opportunities. This system allows students to pursue subjects of their choice at any time, in addition to their regular academic courses. The grades earned will be converted into credits and stored in the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC). It is essential that academic records for the year 2025 are uploaded in accordance with this framework.
