The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) has released a recruitment notification for 2025. Eligible candidates are invited to submit online applications for Driver and Worker roles within the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC). This recruitment initiative aims to fill a total of 1,743 positions, including 1,000 for drivers and 743 for workers.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have completed their SSC or an equivalent examination recognized by the state government by July 1, 2025. For those applying for the driver role, a valid driving license for heavy passenger motor vehicles (HPMV), heavy goods vehicles (HGV), or transport vehicles is required, with a minimum of 18 months of validity as of the notification date, September 17, 2025.
Age requirements are as follows: drivers must be between 22 and 35 years old, while laborer applicants should be at least 18 years old and not exceed 30 years. Age relaxations will be applicable for candidates from reserved categories as per regulations.
Application Fees
The application fee varies based on the position and candidate category. For the driver role, the fee is ₹600 for general candidates, while Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) local candidates in Telangana will pay ₹300. For the laborer position, the fee is ₹400 for general candidates and ₹200 for SC/ST local candidates.
Salary Structure
Selected candidates will receive competitive salaries. The pay scale for drivers ranges from ₹20,960 to ₹60,080 per month, while laborers will earn between ₹16,550 and ₹45,030 per month.
