Educational Qualification
Professor (Faculty of Literature):
- Ph.D. Degree in Tamil with specialization in Comparative Classical Literature from a recognized University or Institute.
Professor (History, Sociology, and Anthropology):
- Ph.D. with a degree in History/Sociology/Anthropology with specialization in classical area from a recognized university or institute.
Professor (Epigraphy & Numismatics):
- Ph.D. Degree in Epigraphy/ Numerology specialization in the classical area from a recognized university or institute.
Pay Scale
- Professor: Level 14 Rs.1,44,200/-
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:

Upper Age Relaxation:
- The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC, and 10 years for the PWD category.
Selection Process
- Eligible candidates will be called for a selection process based on their interview.
