OSSC Recruitment 2022 Bumper Vacancies: Apply for 7540 Teacher posts at ossc.gov.in, check eligibility, last date
Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has invited applications for the recruitment of Regular Teachers for Government Secondary Schools under School and Mass Education (S&ME) Department. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from 11th December at OSSC official website ossc.gov.in. Last date for submission of application is 9 January.
This recruitment is for a total of 7540 vacancies of regular teachers in eight different subjects. These posts include Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Art, TGT PCM, TGT CBZ, Hindi Teacher, Sanskrit Teacher, Physical Education Teacher, Telugu Teacher and Urdu Teacher.
OSSC Recruitment 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for any of the above posts should be able to read and write Odia and should have passed either the HSC examination conducted by Odisha Board of Secondary Education with language subject or higher secondary examination conducted by the Council. Higher Secondary Education, Odisha with Odia as an examinable subject. Those who have cleared 10th class Odia exam conducted by BSE, Odisha are also eligible to apply.
Age Limit: To be eligible to apply for these posts, candidates should be between 21 to 38 years of age as on January 1, 2022. Relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit for SEBC, SC, and ST candidates. Categories and Women Candidates. For PWD category candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 10 years.

Step 3: Fill the required details and upload the required documents to fill the application form.
Step 4: Submit the application form and save a copy for future reference.
OSSC Recruitment 2022: Selection Process
Selection will be based on written examination and certificate verification. The written examination will be conducted in two stages – preliminary examination and main written examination. Both the exams consist of one paper each and consist of objective type and MCQ questions. There is negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Those who clear the prelims exam will be eligible to appear in the mains exam. Shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo certificate verification after the main written examination.
OSSC Recruitment 2022: Salary
Successfully selected candidates for Physical Education Teacher post Rs. 29,200 can get salary. For remaining posts, the salary on offer is Rs 35,400 per month.
