The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB) has announced the opening of applications for the role of Assistant Professor in government arts and education colleges across Tamil Nadu.

This announcement is particularly beneficial for those aspiring to secure Assistant Professor roles in government arts, science, and education institutions.

Candidates interested in applying can do so through the official TN TRB website, trb.tn.gov.in, until the deadline of November 10, 2025.

There will be a window for application corrections from November 11 to 13, 2025, and the recruitment examination is tentatively set for December 20, 2025. A total of 2,708 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive.

Applicants are required to possess a master's degree in a relevant field from a recognized Indian university, achieving at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade. Those with equivalent qualifications from foreign universities are also eligible.

As per the notification, candidates must be no older than 57 years as of July 1, 2025.

The application fee is ₹600 for all candidates, while SC, SCA, ST, and differently-abled applicants will pay a reduced fee of ₹300.
