Eligibility Requirements

Selection Process Overview
The selection will consist of five stages:
- Shorthand Test (English) – 100 marks: Candidates must transcribe at 120 words per minute for 7 minutes, with a maximum of 5 mistakes allowed. A minimum of 50 marks is required to pass.
- Objective-Type Written Test – 100 questions, 2 hours:
- General English: 25 questions
- General Knowledge: 25 questions
- Judiciary-related provisions in the Constitution: 25 questions
- Supreme Court Rules, 2013: 15 questions
- Computer knowledge: 10 questions (Minimum 50 marks required to qualify)
- Computer Typing Test – 20 marks: A minimum speed of 40 wpm is required. General candidates must score at least 10 marks, while reserved category candidates need a minimum of 5 marks.
- Interview – 30 marks: The qualifying score is 15 marks for General and 13 marks for reserved categories.
- Degree Weightage – Candidates with a Law degree from a recognized university will receive an additional 3 marks.
